The key documents
- Sales contract and invoice: basis for taxes and registration.
- Registration certificates (parts I and II): the German vehicle papers.
- Certificate of Conformity (COC): confirms EU type approval.
- Service record and inspection reports: prove condition and history.
- Seller's ID: protects against fraud.
What if something is missing?
A missing COC can be reordered from the manufacturer. If registration documents are missing, walk away from the purchase. We check all documents before any money changes hands.
